Ksenia Parkhatskaya

Graceful, eccentric, and full of character, Ksenia is one of the most interesting and versatile artists in the jazz and swing dance world today. She exploded onto the swing scene at Harlem 2011 (Vilnius), in the solo jazz dance battle. From 2011 on Ksenia has toured the world, teaching and performing solo dance at various events all over Europe and as far as LA and Seoul.

Trained in ballroom dance since the age of 6, modern jazz and theatre since 2006, currently her specialisation is solo jazz dance styles: Ragtime, Charleston, Swing, Bebop. Over the last years Ksenia has been studying African dance styles and House. Play, musicianship, versatility and individual voice are the core ideas of her work.

Ksenia performed with live bands and orchestras such as: Christian McBride Trio (US), Paul Dunlea Big Band (Irl), Georgyi Garanyan Big Band (Rus) and 80 piece orchestra Opera de Paris (FR). In 2017 she was dancing for Aspen Santa Fe Ballet company. She created choreographies for TV and films such as: So You Think You Can Dance’15 (Rus), So You Think You can Dance’15 (Ukr), Ukraine’s Got Talent’13 (Ukraine), Harbinez (Rus).

Currently Ksenia runs two main projects, one of which is online dance courses “Ksenia’s Secrets of Solo” has over 10h of video classes and 1200+ participants from all over the world. Her second project is a full length theatre dance show “Radio Hermitage”.
