GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General terms and conditions for SweetJazz 2018 attendees:
- GENERAL CONDITIONS
The general terms and conditions applicable to all attendees of the event “SweetJazz”, organized by Društvo za kulturo swinga SweetSwing, Vojkova cesta 91, Ljubljana, registration number: 2243822000 (hereinafter: DKS), are an essential and binding part of the Registration Contract, concluded between DKS and the individual who has registered their attendance at SweetJazz. Without confirming your acceptance of the general terms and conditions stated in this document, your participation at the event is not possible.
- PAYMENT TERMS
Payment for the festival for each individual must be done immediately after submitting. You will get an email with payment details after your registration is confirmed. If we don’t get your payment in 7 days, your registration will be deleted.OPTION OF A SPLIT PAYMENT (available only when registering in June and July)
You can use the option of a split payment: after completing your online registration, you should pay 50 EUR (non-refundable) in within 7 days and sort out the rest until August 15th. You will get an email with payment details after your registration is confirmed. If we don’t get your full payment until August 15th, your registration will be deleted. The amount of 50 EUR is non-refundable.However, if you don’t receive an email with payment details 24 hours after registering, please write us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org before you pay. You can pay for more than one person with one transaction; if you do so, please write down your ID numbers while you do it. All related bank transfer costs are borne by the participant (deducting only the costs of the bank transfer).
- CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of cancellation of attendance at the event, DKS will partially refund the registration fee to the participant in the cases listed below and according to the proposed scheme:
- for all cancellations made before 15. 5. 2018, the amount of the registration fee refund is 50% of the payment made
- for all cancellations made between 15. 5. 2018 and 1. 8. 2018, the amount of the registration fee refund is 30% of the payment made
- for all cancellations made after 1. 8. 2018, the amount of the registration fee refund is 0% of the payment made
- if a participant presents a medical certificate of injury or illness of the participant, due to which their cancellation of attendance at the event is justifiable, the participant will be refunded the registration fee in full (deducting only the costs of the bank transfer).
- CHANGES TO THE EVENT BY ORGANIZER
DKS, has the right to implement any and all changes to the content of the event (including dates, times, locations, prices, schedules, personnel, etc.), which the members of the organising team deem necessary in order to maintain the highest possible quality of the event, or which are the result of actions and events beyond DKS’s control (eg. in case of force majeure *). In case of a change in the date, location, price or program of the event, the participant has the right to withdraw from the contract within the designated deadline and receive a refund of their registration fee based on the cancellation policy described in article 3 of this contract.
* Force majeure are all unpredictable and unexpected events that are not dependent on the will of the contracting parties and which could not have been anticipated.
- EVENT CANCELLATION BY ORGANIZER
DKS, reserves the right to cancel the event in case of extraordinary threats to the event or its attendees, or due to a higher force. As the festival fee is the only income for the DKS, the attendees will be reimbursed the maximum of the paid fee deducted by the already incurred costs of the event.
- INJURY AND ILLNESS
DKS does not take responsibility for personal injury or theft that might occur during the SweetJazz festival.
- APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
In accordance with local law, the court of Ljubljana has jurisdiction over all disputes between contractual parties.
- WEB REGISTRATION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
The participant must complete an online registration by providing the following information: name, surname, e-mail and dancer type (leader or follower) in order to confirm their participation at the event. This information is processed solely for the purpose of organizing festival events and educational events. DKS saves and uses this information for the purpose of executing the event, and informing the participant about other DKS festivals. This data will not be forwarded to or shared with third parties. Participants can at any point in time ask to change or delete their personal data by sending their request to email@example.com.Information about the participant is saved for up to 5 years exclusively for the purpose of exercising the contractual relationship rights.In accordance with the second paragraph of Article 158 of ZEKom-1 (Law on Electronic Communications), the participants’ data will also be used to provide information about other events and related products and services provided by DKS. You can receive information from various email addresses that belong to a particular festival or society and they are: firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com. You can opt out of these notifications at any time by sending a cancellation message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By clicking on the link and accepting “GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS” on the online registration form, the participant confirms that they fully agree with the content of these terms, and commits himself to comply with all the submitted rules and regulations.
